What You’ll Do:

The Threshold is looking for an Activity Leader to join our team in West Bend. In this role, you’ll support adults with disabilities as they build skills, participate in activities, work toward personal goals, and stay connected to their community.
  • 📅 Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 7:30/8:00 AM–3:30/4:00 PM
  • ⏰ Hours: 35–40 hours per week
  • 📍 Location: West Bend, WI
  • 🎉 No nights or weekends!

As an Activity Leader, no two days are exactly the same. You’ll help create meaningful, engaging days for the individuals we serve by:

  • Assisting with on-site activities such as crafts, games, recreational activities, and other group activities.
  • Helping clients participate in community outings, events, and experiences.
  • Supporting individuals as they work toward their personal goals, build skills, and increase independence.
  • Encouraging participation, social interaction, and connection with others.
  • Providing assistance with personal needs, including grooming, eating, transfers, repositioning, and personal cares.
  • Building positive, supportive relationships with clients and serving as a strong role model.
  • Transporting clients to community activities using agency vans.
  • Observing and documenting client progress, needs, behavioral changes, and other important information.
  • Administering medications or assisting with medical procedures as trained and needed.
  • Helping maintain a clean, organized, and safe program environment.
  • Working closely with other team members to provide consistent, quality support.

We’re looking for someone who is compassionate, reliable, creative, and ready to learn.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Wisconsin driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Willingness to complete required company-provided training, including Medication Administration, CPR/AED, First Aid, and Non-Violent Physical Crisis Intervention within the first six months of employment.
